Description

Blade material for F803 is 8CR13 steel which is one of the most quality stainless alloys. This alloy has 58HRC hardness. The shape of the blade is quite universal - drop point. It is a well balanced blade with a smooth sharpening and a sharp tip. Its thickness is 5 mm, which provides a significant margin of safety. The length of the blade is 115 mm. F803 model can help you to prepare fish you have caught, and cook sandwiches, and also carry out auxiliary work. Its blade is unusual in that it has a black coating made with a special powder paint. In the process of using F803 knife, it is not erased, but requires careful handling during the grinding of the knife.

The handle for F803 model is made of thermoplastic ASB. It is a very strong material that is well protected from various types of corrosion, easily tolerates contact with water. The main part of the handle is made in black, but the small areas on the front sides are bright orange, which makes it easy to find the knife in the grass, on sand and other areas. In addition, small light-insulating inserts are integrated into the handle of the knife. Also there is glassbreaker at the butt which can be useful in emergency situations.

An important element of the kit is the sheath for the Firebird F803 knife. It's made of plastic and nylon, easily adjustable in length, so that the knife inside is seated as tightly as possible. With help of such sheath you can safely carry your knife on the waist belt. On the front side of the sheath the flint is placed. It can be used as a fully separate accessory. On the back side you can find a small diamond sharpener, which will always help maintain the proper sharpness of the blade. Also sheath has a strap-cutter which also makes this kit handy for survival issues.

COLD STEEL BOOMERANG
Throwing a boomerang is just plain fun and has a lot of benefits that are overlooked today. Besides being a useful hunting arm, throwing a boomerang can be good exercise while dramatically increasing eye hand coordination. Anyone who shoots a bow, throws a spear, swings a bat, stick, sword, golf club, racquet or throws any kind or size of ball will benefit from learning how to throw and practice regularly with a boomerang.
Since we are in the business of making things to throw, it was only natural for us to try and improve on the boomerang by making our own, non-returning version. Injected molded from high impact Polypropylene, with a wood grain surface texture, and sporting the most aerodynamic length, shape and cross section we could devise, our boomerang fills the bill. You can use it for hunting, target throwing, and distance throwing and, in a pinch, it will also serve admirably as a highly effective self-defense tool as well.
The boomerang, or throwing stick has been used on every continent from time immemorial and is still found in use as a hunting tool in isolated pockets around the globe even today. Fashioned in various shapes, forms and sizes and made from wood, bone, horn and even metal, it was most effective when used to harvest game birds, water fowl and small game. Today, the boomerang or throwing stick is most closely associated with Australia where many original inhabitants (Aborigines) still posses the skill and knowledge to use them to put meat on the table. Affordably priced, incredibly durable, our Boomerang is fun for the whole family and will provide years of hard use and entertainment.

COLD STEEL KUKRI MACHETE W/SHEATH *
If you were suddenly castaway on a desert island or stranded in the wilderness or a jungle, what's the one tool you would want at your side? The answer is a good machete. You see the machete, over the last three centuries, has proven to be the ultimate outdoor and survival tool. It will cut, chop, slash, hack, split, scrape, scoop, hammer, dig, crush, carve, whittle, crack or smash just about anything you can put in front of it. The machete also makes a deadly improvised weapon. It can be used to kill both fish and game and will gut, scale, filet, skin, quarter, and butcher them for the table as well. And when you look at its meager cost, it's got to be one of the best bargains for hard earned cash in the world. In fact it's so cheap and useful that even the poorest peasant in South America or tribesman in Africa invariably owns one and counts on it as one of his most precious possessions.
These blades are made out of 1055 Carbon Steel with a tough spring temper and are surfaced with a black, baked-on anti-rust finish. Each Cold Steel® machete comes with a good utility edge which, with just a little work, can be made hair shaving sharp. The tough, Polypropylene handles of our machetes are designed to provide a comfortable secure grip, and they are rugged enough to resist chipping, cracking or breaking, so they last practically forever.
There's no single edged weapon that we can think of that can out-chop or out-cut a good Kukri. It's true that the best Kukris, like our LTC and Gurkha models, can be somewhat expensive. While those "thoroughbreds" perform extraordinarily well for the money that they cost, it sometimes seems that what's required is a good, inexpensive, "workhorse" model. Our Kukri Machetes are those workhorses. They are available in two sizes, one has a thirteen inch blade and the other, our new "Magnum" model has a whopping seventeen inch blade. Both are ready to plow through the toughest chores life can dish out. Each features the distinctive weight-forward balance of our "top-of-the-line" model
